RE: Can we recompile oracle 9i binaries

No need for X-windows,

Make ssh/telnet connection to server, ensure Oracle home, sid and
library path and execute command "relink all"

Make sure that no oracle server process is active, which is using that
oracle home.

Regards and Thanks

Subject: Can we recompile oracle 9i binaries

Hi Gurus,

I have a question to all of you!! I hope one of us may have any answer

Well, Please let me know whether we can recompile "ORACLE 9I BINARIES".

Requirement:
My requirement is I have remote site Solaris Server. Where I can not use
X-windows to GUI bases installer.

I have done before with Oracle 8i binaries and to remote server and
compile binaries as specified note in Metalink.
This time I wanted to do this use for Oracle 9i. but I found nothing on
Metalink. If any of us done this before please let me know.

If this is not possible I may have to install in silent mode :)
