So, I'd have to first install Oracle HTTP server from the companion CD
(or is that included in the HTML DB install?)

Yes. Fairly easy install. You must install the companion CD which can
take up to 1.7GB more or less (if not already running Oracle appache).
Not a big resource hog unless your developers write really lousy plsql.
It is VERY powerful and pretty easy to use. Everything relies on your
ability to write good, efficient plsql and also develop packages and
procedures to eliminate duplicate/redundant code, etc. There are other
positive and negative... Ask away...

Has anyone used HTML DB (preferably 2.0)? I'd like to know how easy
an
install it is, how much space it requires, how it is on system
resources, how easy to develop, etc. I'm thinking about taking a
course
in it so when we're asked to create a "temporary" front-end I could
use
an Oracle tool that provides a web front-end instead of using
MSAccess.
Thanks,
Jed.
