Hi DBA's,



I logged in as SYSTEM user and altered the SYS users password, now when I
try to login as a SYS user it tells me in sufficient privilege, what could
be the problem.



When I tried to connect as a SYS user using the statement



SQLPLUS> conn sys as sysdba



It never prompts for a password and it immediately gives the message
insufficient privilege. I also tried the below way



SQLPlUS> conn sys/password as sysdba



Even now it gives the same message.



May someone help me out?
