I am getting an Ora-24234 (service handle not initialized) during
install on Oracle 10G on Windows XP.



Can anyone provide any insight as to why I might get this error?



I have full admin rights, as far as I can tell. I tried installing on a
co-workers workstation with no problem, so I think it must be something
special with my workstation's configuration. I have tried to install
Oracle XE and Oracle 10.2 unsuccessfully. I have done similar installs
with no problem before on other machines.
