RE: 805 to 10GR2?

Nope. It works from 8.1.7.4 to 10g. the export/import is not backward compatible.

We did migrate from 8.1.7.4 to 10gR2 successfully by doing export/import. We migrated to 10gR2 ASM.

Hi everyone,

I did some scanning around the Internet and did find out the answer to
this very basic question....

Can we migrate from oracle 805 to 10GR2? I thought I read somewhere
where you can as long as you use export/import to migrate the database.

If anyone knows could you let me know?

Thank you, Will
