You can use tail -100 alert_xxxx.log or more alert_xxxx.log

My DB's alertlog file size is 380M.Whenever i used to open the alert log
in VI editor it throws me an error message that file is too large to
open.Suggest me how can i open the alert log file.Platform is Solaris.
