I never had any evidence that views are slower than their "non-view"
equivalents. I already created lots of views for my pl/sql packages,
also complex ones like the views of views (of views ...). A lot of my
work is based on them so that I don't like the idea that they somehow
turn out to be performance degrading, as rumors seem to say. Do you have
any doubts about their performance neutrality ?
