Increase the shared pool size and db_cache_size by atleast 100m

Dear all

Please help me

We have upgraded the database from Oracle8i Release 8.1.5.0.0 to Oracle9i
Enterprise Edition Release 9.0.1.1.1.

We had some errors occuring as follows
1) When the users logged in it work for sometime smoothly and afterwards it
starts giving error.

(ORA-04031 unable to allocate ____ bytes of shared memory("large pool",
"unknown object","hash-join subh","kllcqc:kllcsqit)

Shared pool size is 250MB,db_block_size 4k, db_cache_size 33554432.
we have server with 4 processor and 4 GB RAM.

please help
