Being a DBA without experience in SQL and PL/SQL ?
Reminds me of a quote :-
"Those who can, Do ... those who can't do, teach
those who can't teach, administer"
Answering your questions ...
Will it create any problems ? ...
It won't as long as your boss doesn't have an idea
about this ...
Is it necessary ? ...
Well, let me put it this way ...
Is it necessary to know swimming if you are gonna be
a lifeguard ?

Subject: oracle developer and DBA's
Hi,
I have joined a mobile company and working there as an oracle DBA
for the last 5 months. I don't have any oracle developer
(sql, procedure, package, triggers) experience. Will it create any problem
working as a DBA? Does it necessary to have experience in oracle
development when working as a DBA?
Please help me in this topic.
Regards
