DBAs -

We have an existing production database running Oracle 9.2.0.6.0 and a
second database in another location running 10.2.0.x (it will probably
be release 2). What is the best method of copying the entire 9.2.0.6.0
database to the 10.2.0.x database? Any help will be greatly appreciated?


My past experiences make me believe that I can not just copy all of the
datafiles and open the database (at least not as a 10.2.0.x database).
Also from past experiences, will I be able to import the 9.2.0.6.0
export directly into the 10.2.0.x database?
