I have the same issue... I exported my database from 9i - used DBCA in
10g and then imported.
(1) Should I be using the database migration tool instead?
(2) Also, can you had 10g on one server and migrate a database from
another (9i) server, or do the have to reside on the same box?
(3) Last, if I 'migrate' a database using the migration tool, does it
leave the on 9i database alone and give me a 10g 'version' of that
database, or does it render the 9i database unusable?
Any help on this would be great.
