RE: JVM timechange update for 10.2.0.1

RE: JVM timechange update for 10.2.0.1

I did this on Unix OK. If you are not VMS you can ignore the VMS folder.
I believe the script they refer to is opatch itself. There is no
additional script and the apply command will work if you in the 5865568
folder. Dave.

Ok let's see if this makes sense to anyone.
When I download OJVM Time Zone Update February-2007 Patch for version
10.2.0.1 I only get ETC, Files directory along w/ the readme file. But
if I download 10.2.0.2 version I get ETC, Files directory, readme file
and compressed folder called P5865568_10202_VMS. Within this compressed
folder is an install_patch file. All the other files w/ in the 2
downloads are the same except for this install_patch file is not w/in
the 10.2.0.1 patch download.
Do you think I should use this install_patch file on my 10.2.0.1 jvm
patch?
I have tried running opatch from the 10.2.0.1 download but keep getting
an error message nothing to apply.
My test db is 10.2.0.1 and prod is 10.2.0.2.
Thanks,
Tina

Has anyone updated the JVM on there Oracle 10.2 machines?

I have verified we have JVM installed correctly on our server,
downloaded the patch update release 10.2.0.1 which contains a directory
called 5865568. Within this directory is etc & files directory and
ReadMe text.

The readme text states to run opatch with the script included in the
download but there are no scripts.

I can't find anything on metalink other then update the JMV by following
the readme text and the post install info. The post install states to
make sure the opatch script has successfully ended without errors.

If anyone has run this I would be greatful to hear what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks,

Tina
