Hi all,

In a Oracle 9i RAC database in Solaris ,the log file parallel write event
in Statspack has around 30,000 waits and log file sync has around
15,000.There are 4 logfile groups with 2 log members in each group and the
size of each is 100M. and all the 4 groups are in the same file system.

Will reducing the number of redo log groups to 3,multiplexing across the
available file systems and increasing their size have any improvement.
