You have not mentioned the OS you are using ? You have to give privileges
on the network drive to the forms/reports server from where you running the
reports. The network drive may be accessible to you but not the report
server. Check that the network drive is accessible to the reports server.
Make required changes in the hostfiles if any if the server is using them.

When I run Oracle Report from a Oracle Form using RUN_REPORT_OBJECT, system is able to save the output as a file in my local drive. But when I change the directory name to Network drive, it gives the following error. I checked the privileges. I have privileges on the network drive and I'm able to create a file but not through Oracle Forms. Please note that the same report is being saved on local drive, but not on network drive. Do we need to grant any special privileges to Reports Server on any of those drives? How do I resolve this problem? Please let me know.
