gcs remote message event
Hi all,
The event gcs remote message has around 2,00,000 waits and almost the same
number of timeouts. On quering the view GV$CACHE_TRANSFER , I found that
there are a couple of objects with xnc more than 1500.The value for
parameter DB_BLOCK_SIZE IS 8M and the value for parameter
DB_FILE_MULTIBLOCK_READ_COUNT is 16M.
The database is in Oracle 9i running in SOLARIS o/s. Any suggestions on
the aforesaid post.
Thanks.
Kind regards,
Raj
