Yes, I am using SYSMAN to log into OEM. Can you clarify where the permission issue might lie? What files?
Thanks,
Brian

Taking a shot in the dark here....Are you logged into OEM as sysman? Seems
to me if you can see the http server but nothing else, it may be a
permissions issue (maybe)

Subject: OMS can't see everything on node
Hi Gurus:
I am trying to discover a new node in OEM. I can discover the node, but
it doesn't show the instance on that node, only the HTTP server.
I have tried dropping the node, stopping the agent, deleting the *.q and
services.ora files, restarting the agent, and then rediscovering the node,
but I get the same problem.
The database in question is listed in the oratab file.
I confirmed with the SA's that there are no firewalls between this server
and the OMS.
Any clues what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks,
Brian
