Of course a windows client install and since you have 10g database I
would use 10.2.0.1 client for windows. I access databases on unix
servers every day with clients on my windows XP PC.

I get the feeling I have wrongly worded my problem,
But got some pointers on issues I never knew existed!!!
Let me rephrase my question which I originally had in mind:
I have Oracle 10G Database running on Linux ( Suse 10 to be precise ).
I want to install a client on Windows ( Windows XP to be precise ) .
Which client do I need to install on windows , I suppose client that
installs on a Windows environment ( silly me )....
But I was wondering whether accessing an oracle server on Linux
environment will have any problems.
Any suggestions or views gladly accepted.

either my 10.2.0.1 client or my 9.2.0 client. Usually I use my
