RE: Solaris And Linux ?

Hey Ron,
You are correct! I am excellent at using the UNIX commands on the
command line, creating scripts, using awk, sed, etc. But, now I am
"just a GUI DBA"! hehe. I love my X-Windows and the "dtpad" on my
Solaris servers! I am now with the "younger generation"! "Just do it"!
hehe.

Hi,
Isn't it then important to learn X windows? The Oracle installer needs
it,
so to be a good DBA, you need to use it. Right?
