RE: kill connections

RE: kill connections

Hello,

This is regarding 9.2.0.4 RAC database. For some reasons we cannot
increase the physical memory in the servers which is

2gb now. Recently we started getting ora-07445 errors in database which
in turn is creating memory stack calls dump files in the

udump dir. After sometimes the database hangs.

We noticed that recently the number of sessions in the database has
increased to 450-500!

I noticed that there is no error or dump creation till number of
sessions are under 420.As soon as the sessions increase

From 420 , the database starts giving errors. So its clearly some memory
problem.

The number of clients are not more than 250.

Now the question:

Is there a genius method or a procedure to put a check on session
getting created? We find sessions still dangling in database

when user close their forms application without properly logging out.

Thanks in advance.
