Data pump remains the best solution for this kind of procedure.
RMAN is really for recovery and duplication of whole database.

Is there a way utilizing RMAN to backup a specific schema in one
database then load that schema into a different database? This is an
oracle 10G database running on windows 2003.
I'm currently using a data pump export/import script.
