Try escaping the $( ... It thinks your $( is a variable ... Place a \ in front of the $ ...
fga_log\$

Subject: Datapump Question
I'm trying to use DATA PUMP to export FGA_LOG$ table.
My OS is RedHat Linux
Keep getting an error. LRM-00108: invalid positional parameter value
'sysdba'
I tried several different ways. Can one use Data Pump with SYS to export
FGA_LOG$ table?
The command I am using is:
expdp "/ as sysdba" directory=data_pump_fga logfile=fga.log
tables=(fga_log$) dumpfile=tables_aud1%U.dmp parallel=3
Also used
expdp sys/password directory=data_pump_fga logfile=fga.log
tables=(fga_log$) dumpfile=tables_aud1%U.dmp parallel=3
Any help would be appreciated.
