First, you should have a database created that has the particular
tablespace(s) that contain the data in question before the import. What
I do is open the dump file in a text editor like WordPad or TextPad
(READ ONLY!!!) and copy/paste the create tablespace statements into a
text file and use those statements as a reference to creating my
database prior to importing the dump file.

i have import the oracle data from .dmp file using Imp utility in Oracle
9i.
However it doesn't show me the data anywhere. Could you pls help that
where
it have restored the data.
