Hi

You could try the following:
1. alter system set job_queue_processes=0 scope=memory;
2. shutdown the databases listener
3. shutdown the database with immediate

Hi,

I am receiving the below problem while i shutdown the database


ORA-00106: cannot startup/shutdown database when connected to a
dispatcher

However i am able to Shutdown the other database which is also installed in
the same PC.

Pls suggest some remedy to this problem.
