Check to make sure nothing was accessing that file. If there is anything
attached unix will not release the space.

I have development server on Oracle 8i on Unix platform.

Even on removing the user table space and its physical file from the
UNIX I am unable to reclaim the available space on UNIX.

Please help me this is very urgent.
