I'm curious as to why no RMAN since its free. Etiher way, what Oracle version are you on? Are you using OEM? Lastly, are you backing up to disk or to tape?

Without using RMAN
My database is archive mode
I did the following statements
Alter tablespace users begin backup;
I did this.
do need to copy the all datafiles in that table using operating system
command
some body can help
