RE: online database backup

RE: online database backup

Hi Rajavardhan,

Which operating system are you using..Windows or Unix??

If Unix,

Use cp (copy) command from the OS prompt to copy the files to to
required destination
Syntax: cp sourcefile destinationfile
Ex: cp /d001/oracle/oradata/users.dbf /d002/oracle/backup/users.dbf

If Windows,

A simple copy paste would work.

Regards,
Divya
