1) in UNIX which I assume you are in, you can do "file
$ORACLE_HOME/bin/oracle" and it will say 32 or 64 bit. It used to say
in some flavors when you went into sqlplus, but I don't think it's
consistent anymore.
2) It should say on the CD. or look at the readme/doc on the CD
