Hi,

I am loading data "insert into select * from ..." via a db_link.
The insert is very very very very slow. Drastically bad.

The DB has been configured with the default params setup on a
Win 2003 server - 64bit.

What should I do to improve the performance?

Currently, I only need to load - but later on, I will need to
tune it to optimize performance.


Looking for an answer that will direct me to the solution as
well as resource on - optimizing performance (during loads and prod
times).
