Hi Michael.
Thanks a lot for the information.
I think all that's left to do is recreate that DBSNMP guy.
I hope I'll be able to log in after that.
Regards,
Nico

Subject: Re: recreating DB Control - Problem with DBSNMP
Dropping dbcontrol results in all em scheduled jobs being lost and any
metric settings you have. Other than that, it doesn't affect anything
else. I've had to drop/recreate mine more times than I'd like to admit
because of one bug or another. You can get your job listing from the
dbconsole's metadata tables if its not already dropped them if they are
important to you...

Hi all,
I'm using oracle 10.2.0.3 and since I've upgraded I've lost the
enterprise manager.
I'm currently trying to repair it but when I issue the command:
emca -config dbcontrol db -repos recreate
I'm prompt to input DBSNMP password, the command hang. There's nothing
left to do.
Logging into sqlplus with dbsnmp hangs too.
I want to drop and recreate the user (found a document on metalink)
but
I would like to know if there's no impact outside of DB Control.
Thanks
Nicolas
