Hi,

I am getting ORA-27123: unable to attached shared memory segment
error when I am trying to increase the SGA size from 2.6 GB to 5GB.



Details of OS and Oracle:



OS: IBM AIX 5.3

Oracle version: 8.1.7

SGA size 2.6GB currently

Total size of RAM is 12GB.

Number o f instances 2.



Please help me out in this.
