Hi Philip.
If everything is in place in terms of datafiles, controlfiles and spfile
then it's not a big deal (apart of the extra work).
All you got to do is re install Oracle to this home or another one. (TO
install in the current home however you will probably need to clean up a
bit. Check metalink for that).
Then, if your database service is not created yet. Go create it with the
oradim command.
Then, since everything is in place, it should work like a charm The only
thing you'll have to do is to make sure you got a proper spfile in
place.

My oracle 10g server on windows was uninstalled in error by a user. I
have the data files. Can I do a fresh installation and export the data
