RE: difference between ora10g and ora9i dbca

Hi Deddy,

I am not sure if this is the case.
I found out a lot of sql scripts run as part of DBCA 10g database
creation.

CreateDB.sql
CreateDBFiles.sql
CreateDBCatalog.sql
JServer.sql
odm.sql
context.sql
xdb_protocol.sql
ordinst.sql
interMedia.sql
cwmlite.sql
spatial.sql
emRepository.sql
postDBCreation.sql

Best Regards,
Achmad Dimyati

Subject: difference between ora10g and ora9i dbca

Hi DBAers,

I usually install oracle using dbca.

I found that installing ora9i will run some catalog scripts (and will
take time), but using dbca for 10g there are no those scripts (only
cloning, and faster).

Could you tell me what is difference ?

Thanks & Regards,

Deddy Djuniardi
