Check to see if the Oracle Agent was also installed.
We had a similar issue, but our backup software is Tivoli.
Installing the TSM client does not install the libobk* file
The Oracle agent (TDPO - Tivoli Data Protection for Oracle) had to be
installed separately.

Hi,
In $ORACLE_HOME/lib, there is a library calls "libobk.so". This library
is
actually a symbolic link to /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/libobk.so64.1 for
RMAN
to communicate with Veritas Netbackup agent on the server.
When my Enterprise backup group installed Veritas Netbackup Client 5.1
they
could not find the libobk.so64.1 in the directory.
The question has who provided the libobk.so64.1 library?
