RE: Oracle error

RE: Oracle error

HI Divya,
Use ALTER SESSION SET NLS_DATE_FORMAT = 'DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI:SS'; to set
proper date format. I think it is like this in forms you have date format as
mm-dd-yyyy and in database server date format is dd-mm-yyyy, or vice
versa. Using nls_date_format you can solve this problem.

Thanks & Regards
Mujeeb

Subject: Oracle error

Hai ,

I am new to Oracle.

My client has specified an error FRM-40735 Form_StartUp trigger raised
unhandled exception ORA-01843.

I know this is due to the invalid month.
But in forms it wont accept if we give the wrong month.
How will that error occur in oracle FORMS?
And what is the solution to that?

Can anyone help me?

Regards,
Carolin Divya.K
