If you use Oracle Enterprise Edition, you can create some "Resource
Consumer Group" and create some "Resource plans", and configure the
limit of the bandwidth of the CPU usage for a certain "Resource
Consumer"...that use this stored function.

Subject: CPU utilization 96% for Application
Hi,
I have a stored function which executed once time taken is 31 milli
seconds.
But when executed parallely ( 50 executions at one time parallelly) ,it
is
taking about 300ms and CPU utilization is 96%.
Using TKPROF identified queries, But little we could improve at SQL
level,
Any suggestion to improve performance at db level to reduce cpu usage ?
Thanks & Regards
Mujeeb
