RE: partitioning blobs

RE: partitioning blobs

It is a value_length. a number showing the number of bytes for the blob.

I wish I had a date, but I don't. It is a third party COTS product.

So, how should I partition this table?

Thanks.

Jerry

Subject: partitioning blobs

Hi all,

I have a table with 3 columns, no dates.

Only the blob, blob_id (random number but unique PK) and value.

How would you suggest I partition the blob?

TIA,

Jerry
