Hi,
You are using Which OS.Do you have Oracle client install on the system
form where you want to connect to Oracle DB.

If it is In Windows-2000 onwards than it can be configured, Select



Control Panel->Administrative tools->Data Souce(ODBC)-)Add ..->Select
Oralce in Oracle Home-> Specify Tns Service name, Username and Password
strings ->Check the connection.
