Direct upgrade supported from:
9.2.0, 9.0.1, 8.1.7, 8.0.6

Direct upgrade NOT supported from:
8.1.6, 8.1.5, 8.0.5, 8.0.4, 8.0.3, 7.3.4

You must first upgrade to an intermediate release if a direct upgrade is not supported.

These are the upgrade methods:
Use DBUA - run from the universal installer
Manual Upgrade - command line upgrade instead of the DBUA gui
export / import
