The option is known as Unrecoverable (Now it is NOLOGGING)
It is still there

Does anyone know if ORACLE 8i still supports
creating indexes with the IRRECOVERABLE option ? I believe that the option
was used in 7.33 to speed up creation of indexes.
Please help .
