Go to www.puschitz.com. I have 10gR2 RAC running on Oracle Enterprise Linux
4, Update 5, which is the exact same as RHEL, and it went near flawlessly.
Now if Grid Control was just that easy....
But Puschitz is probably the best resource for administering Redhat
Enterprise Linux and installing/configuring/optimizing Oracle on that OS.

Subject: 10GR2 on Red Hat 4.0 Update 5 x64_64 bit
Has anyone in this forum successfully installed 10GR2 (10.2.0.3.0) on Red Hat
Linux 4.0 Update 5 x86_64 bit server ?
Do you have a detailed doc on this which includes all the RPMs and any extra
steps that need to be done ?
Thanks
Viren
