Hi All,

I am trying to use "became another user" method and had following error. I
though that the encrypted password would work even it stats with a number.
Can someone point out what I did wrong and what is the right way to do it? I
need to do a mass change once it's working.

SQL> alter user BDARDIS identified by www;

User altered.

SQL> alter user BDARDIS identified by 71E28DA9E72E43
alter user BDARDIS identified by 71E28DA9E72E4324
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00988: missing or invalid password(s)
