I currently have the parameter remote_login_passwordfile=exclusive



I need to set it to NONE



However, from what I understand if I do this I won't be able to log in
as sysdba. From what I understand if I create a operating system role
such as OSDBA that this will allow the Oracle user to authenticated to
the operating system to connect to the database as internal, sysdba, or
sysoper.



I am running Oracle under a Unix operating system. Can some one please
tell me how I would implement this step by step and syntax?
