Hey there LazyDBA Friends. Can anyone explain to me in detail what
DEFUNCT processes are and what causes them? We had to bounce the
database to elimate 10 defunct processes that were affecting the
application. Tried kill -9 for these processes, but to no avail.
Additional information: defunct processes have ora_cjq0_<SID_NAME> as
parent process.

Any feedback / info. is highly appreciated.
