First time I've tried to answer one of your Friday questions, but here
goes.
Maybe we don't "need" to follow OFA from a performance point of view in
a SAN environment, but it still makes sense in terms of putting together
a structure that can be easily understood by other DBAs. It also makes
for flexibility if you need to re-size or re-organise your databases.

Do I get the Coke?
