Hi,
There is not practical limitation on the number of nodes can be connected
to the instance. But the only limitation is for the edition you are running
for.
Standard edition can't have more then 4 processor for the instance and for
Enterprise edition no limitation. It is as per the oracle licensing policy.

My question is how many instance maximum I can have in oracle91 rac
environment
And in 10g what is the maximum limit allowed for a single database?
