If your database is still up and running, it can be rebuilt without the
current system datafile. You're not going to be able to recover the
database without a backup but you can rebuilt it using a backup
controlfile. Depending on the level of corruption in the system
datafile, you could still be able to export the schemas out of the
database and get a copy of the structure of the database in the backup
controlfile. The export is going to be questionable but I would at least
try it to see if it still works. If your database is still up and
running, respond back and I'll see what I can do to help you rebuilt it.
If your database is down, you're out of luck. I doubt the database will
even come up at this point.

development that might be on them, especially the DB objects like SP's

I take it you have no user exports either?
If not, with all due respect, I'd say you're screwed.
If you have exports, trash the DB, recreate it, create your users and
import
the data.
If not, I'm afraid you'll have to treat it as a learning experience.
If you can't afford to lose it, back it up...
