Subject: Error while Importing Oracle database.
Hello,
We are getting the following error when tried to import a customer
database.
IMP-00003: ORACLE error 12913 encountered
ORA-12913: Cannot create dictionary managed tablespace
IMP-00017: following statement failed with ORACLE error 12913:
"CREATE TABLESPACE "USERS" BLOCKSIZE 8192 DATAFILE
'/oraprd/HHPP/hhppdata1/"
"oradata/HHPP/users01.dbf' SIZE 52428800 EXTENT MANAGEMENT
DICTIONARY
"
" DEFAULT NOCOMPRESS STORAGE(INITIAL 32768 NEXT 32768 MINEXTENTS 1
MAXEXTEN"
"TS 121 PCTINCREASE 0) ONLINE PERMANENT NOLOGGING"
After some initial research on the internet, I found out that the
process
failed because the dictionary managed tablespace cannot be created if a
database is configured to create local managed table space. Has anyone
encountered this error before; if yes then can anyone please provide me
a
path forward?
