RE: Specifying Trigger Firing Order

RE: Specifying Trigger Firing Order

There are many very cool features in 11g which I am very eager to implement. However, I have previously attempted to migrate to the initial Oracle major release (8i, 9i, 10g) with some difficulty. Moving to the 'bleeding edge' usually resulted in lots of frustration and a feeling that I was one of Oracle's system testers. In my experience, Oracle usually has some major issues with their first attempt at anything more than a patchset.

Since I am feeling way too lazy today to do the research myself,
has anyone checked on the expected time frame for the second release of 11g?

It probably does not help you much, but just for the record, it is
possible if you use 11g:
