I am getting an error when attempting to rename a table as follows:

rename table ATD_UK_PAF.FLATFILE_OLD to ATD_UK_PAF.FLATFILE_NEW

ERROR at line 1:
ORA-00903: invalid table name


Can any one spot the reason? I am logged on with user holding the DBA
belt!
