Well if your database is small always got for migration using utilities
like export/import.

Fir using dbua you need to install oracle 10g on machine but ALWAYS
remember to take a conssitant backup of 9i before using dbua.

Subject: upgrade from 9.2.0.5.0 to 10g

Hi,

I am still confused for upgrade from 9.2.0.5.0 to 10g.

Migrating or upgrading the database - what is used normally?

This link shows that prerequisite is to have 10g installed.

Even if I want to upgrade - do I still need to have 10g downloaded?

Sorry I am still confused....
